Plus size bra

  • This bra is the best support while running my girls have had. I am between 36DD - 38DD and love to run, but was having a really hard time finding a bra I didn't fall out the bottom or top of. I was settling for falling out the top but took my search of the perfect supportive sports bra and was trying decide on this . I decided to try this one first. I do have a difficult time with the clasp, but once it's on my girls don't go anywhere. I have run a 10K with this bra and everything stayed in place the whole time, no adjustments needed and that was amazing! A great bra for busty runners! Besides the full coverage I also love all the adjustments on the straps, helps during any small weight loss or gain as you can keep wearing the same bra. I have worn and washed it several times with no shrinking or material degrading, this is made with excellent quality. There are two things I don't care for, and one is that it's not a racer-back bra, so you can't wear trendy racer-back tops in this bra without the straps showing. The other is that the design on the bra and its reflective trim will show through most thin exercise shirts. Overall though I really recommend this supportive bra and am going to buy another one for myself!
  • I rated this as running small even though I actually ordered the right size. I have 2 other Shock Absorber bras so I knew that I would need to size WAY up to get a good fit. I usually wear 32FF and I ordered a 36E in this bra. It fits very well, maybe slightly large because there isn't as much support as with my other Shock Absorber bra. I love this one though, it's perfect for indoor cycling, yoga, barre, etc. It keeps things relatively under control without impeding breathing, so it's perfect for low impact sports. If you plan to run or jump in this, I suggest ordering several sizes to try. Your best bet would probably be up one band size and the equivalent cup size, so for example if you wear 34DDD, try a 36DD or even a 38D.
  • I struggled to find a decent sports bra that would support me without giving me 'cone' shaped breasts :/ I had previously spent much more on a Freya sports bra (love their line), that bra was fine for low impact but was beginning to give me neck and back pain when running. This bra however solves that issue :) The colors are identical to the photo and it overall looks amazing! :) Some of the negative comments were concerning the fit (some say it's too tight) and the top clasp (some said it's difficult to put on). I would disagree however. I ordered a size up in the band but I felt my original size would have been fine. Also the top clasp takes some getting used to but once I practiced a few times it was very easy :) I actually really love the idea of the 2 clasps because it means the whole back comes unclasped and you don't have to struggle to get it up over your head!! Since buying this I have not worn my old sports bra at all!
  • I love running and exercising, and a good sports bra is one of the most important things for a woman to have, especially if she is large on top. It is VERY challenging to find one that keeps "my girls" from bouncing around. I've tried many different sports bras, and this one is hands-down the best - it is so effective that I have purchased 7 of them! Here are some of the points I considered when purchasing the bra:PROS:It almost eliminates bouncing. You will still move a little bit but not uncomfortably so.It fits true to size, though it's a bit snug. (I think this is why it works so well)The clip at the back makes it possible to wear any kind of shirt, including racerback tank tops.I think it pushes my chest up a little and makes me look a bit "perkier." The "uniboob" effect is minimal. The blue color is very pretty. If you wear a heart rate monitor to train, this bra has no under wire so you don't have to worry about interference.
  • If you're really, really sick of bouncing while working out, this is the sports bra for you. I've tried 11 different brands and styles in the last 8 months. This is one of the first sports bras I bought for my fitness journey, and it's the one I'll keep purchasing. As a full busted woman, I don't prioritize "pretty cleavage" and stringy straps or fancy colors when I'm at the gym and hard at play. In daily life, yes, I want those things. But while I'm jogging, biking, paddling, hiking, lifting, etc., the last thing I want to think about (or feel) is bouncing.PROS: Great support
  • In this thing, I can run, jump, do jumping jacks, I could be a trampoline artist with this thing. I wear a G cup. Can you understand how life-changing a bra like this is? In this thing, my breasts do not shake or move at all. Seriously. I usually keep it on the tightest setting, but sometimes will let it out a bit if I'm not doing a high-impact exercise. This is not a bra to be wearing to lounge around the house or just hang out. It is a SERIOUS sports bra for serious activity. It's designed to hold your breasts immobile no matter how much your body is bouncing around. I find it really comfortable, after the initial 'gah! this is tight!'To reiterate: Best Sports Bra Ever. I wish I could afford to buy another one or give them to all my female friends who do high impact sports. So great.
  • Do your breasts escape the confines of every other bra? Do they bounce around like disobedient toddlers who refuse to hold still during Sunday service? Do you try to discretely suppress their antics while trying to hide the emotional and physical pain they are causing you? Are you without hope that a bra that can control your twin terrors exists? This is not a bra. This is a Breast Breaker. This will grab hold of your breasts in a suffocating grip from which there is no hope, no escape, and no mercy. You will experience mild discomfort throughout wearing it, which only serves as a sublime reminder that YOU are in charge, not your breasts.Your breasts might think there's hope for escape, but once you shove them into this bra's clutches, there's no hope. They don't dare even WIGGLE for what might happen. This bra's threatening squeeze never lets up, and your breasts are right to fear what might happen if they don't hold very, very still.
  • Comfy, supportive, no wires, soft. Holds the girls up without discomfort. Goes in the washer and dryer every week. Thin layer of padding gives a smooth look under clothes. Sure it’s not a sexy date bra, but for work and daily life it’s great. Looks kinda like a sports bra but feels much better. Perfect for travel when you need comfort but also look good. The straps are about an inch and half wide at the top. They do not cut into your skin. The back fastener has 3 hooks and eyes, not 2 like the ones sold at Target, which make this more comfortable. You can keep the hook and eyes closed and slip the bra over your head to get it off and on. This may be really helpful for some women not to have to wrestle with the closures twice a day
  • I tried several different styles and manufacturers of non underwire bras and this one is the hands down winner. I wanted a comfortable everyday bra that I would forget I was wearing and that I would not feel like readjusting constantly. I have a small rib cage, but being older my breasts are perhaps a bit lower than they used to be so even though I only weigh 112 lbsI had to go to a Large in order to get long enough straps. I adjust the band on the tightest notch. I did not choose this bra for active wear. It does provide some lift, but if you are looking for a sports bra this is not it. This bra does provide some separation. It does not squish your breasts together. It provides a nice natural look and because the cups are lined there is no nipple show through. I have ordered a few of these now and have found that sometimes they arrive with wrinkles in the cup material. At first I sent those back, but now I get the wrinkles wet and gingerly use a warm iron to smooth them away. I am pleased with this bra in size Large. It works for me. I am a 34DD. It provides some support while being so comfortable I am happy wearing it all day. I like the full coverage. I can lean way over and not worry about slipping out of the cups. I have worn it stretching during floor exercise and it does not ride up.
  • I am a larger lady 38DD and for the longest time I wore underwire bras, then recently they started to dig into me everywhere all the time. I went down to 3 different stores and tried on soooo many bras is all different sizes. You know the videos everyone has telling you to do calculus to determine your band and cup size but when you go to the store you are still way off, thats what I did. Then I found this little gem I thought this looks too much like a sports bra to actually work...well I was wrong it did work.
  • FINALLY! A comfortable wireless bra! I am 36DDD, and the Medium band fit fine but the cups were too small, so I exchanged for a Large. It fits nicely on the tightest hook and is super comfortable. The shaping liner is sewn in, so it does not shift around, and it prevents "headlights" without adding extra bulk, which I really like. This is not a compression sports bra. If you are planning to go running, get a firmer bra. For the price you cannot beat this bra for day-to-day comfort. I am buying it in more colors and ditching my expensive underwire bras!
  • I'm a 36C, sometimes D, and a size large fit. This is the first time I have used the word "comfortable" to describe a bra, AND it looks fine under a fitted top. I injured my rib and this bra, unlike the rest of the bras I own, doesn't exacerbate the pain. The shaping contour cups avoid that floppy (and sloppy) look that stretchy bras often create, and there's none of that "uni-boob" effect typical of sports bras. (Of course, this is NOT a sports bra — but it's not supposed to be.) Do be aware that this is ultra-full coverage; under a medium to deep V-necked top, the bra will likely show at the center of the V, but given the comfort and appearance under the rest of my clothing, I didn't even deduct a star. I'm hunting for a beige one to buy next. I suspect I will wear continue to wear this bra long after my rib heals.
